An attorney by day, an author by night, Sam is a father 24 hours a day, seven days a week. He was inspired to write about beer-drinking rabbits and bong-smoking bears while fulfilling the latter role. After reading tales about carb-addicted moose, mice, and pigs to his son and daughter for the millionth time, his mind wandered to other creatures with various addictions. Sam lives in Buffalo, New York, with his wife, two children, two dogs, and two cats, none of which are hooked to anything other than television, chew toys, and catnip.
