Born August 4, 1970, Champagne is an American comic artist and writer who has made a huge impact in the industry. He graduated from Montville High School in Oakdale, Connecticut in 1988, and later graduated from the Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art in 1994. It was during his second year at the Kubert School that Keith began working professionally as a comic book inker.

Keith’s work can be found in many titles, with some of his most notable contributions being in JSA, Green Lantern Corps, and World War III. He has also written for Adolescent Radioactive Black Belt Hamsters, and has upcoming projects such as Ghostbusters for IDW Publishing and The Mighty, a creator-owned title for DC Comics, co-written with Peter Tomasi.

In X-Men: The Early Years, Champagne provided covers for issues #2 and #7. In What If…? series, he provided covers for issues #108, #112. He is also credited as a cover artist in the Uncanny X-Men Annual Vol 1 1998.
