NorthEast ComicCon & Collectibles Extravaganza is a fun family friendly event featuring all things Pop Culture and collected, including the opportunity to meet celebrity guests to get in person autographs and photo ops. We are please to welcome a friend of the show, star of Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Criminal Minds, Nicholas Brendon.
Nick as he is known to his friends and fans got his big break as an actor when he landed the role of Xander Harris on the hugely successful TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer appearing on 145 episodes. The series ran from 1997 until 2003, garnering a huge cult following as well as a large fanbase for Brendon. Nicholas Brendon and twin brother Kelly appeared together in the episode “The Replacement”, in which Xander has to cope with having a seemingly sinister double. Nick also did the voice of Xander in the Buffy video games. Nick was also appearing in a recurring role on over 20 episodes of the television program Criminal Minds (between 2007-2014) as Kevin Lynch.
His first major role in a feature film came with the Charles Busch satire Psycho Beach Party (2000), after which he has done numerous films. Brendon has also starred in the ABC Family Channel original movie Celeste in the City (2004) and numerous other TV shows and TV movies with his first TV appearance having been on “Married With Children.” Nicholas Brendon is a spokesperson for the Stuttering Foundation of America, appearing in a print campaign for the organization.
Nick will be appearing all 3 days for the event to sign autographs and pose for Photo Ops with fans (both for a minimal fee), along with doing a Q&A about his career. There are VIP opportunities available, one includes weekend admission, autograph, photo op, reserved seat at the Q&A and a special laminated pass. There is also special VIP opportunity that includes “Karaoke After Hours with Nick.” Each of the these VIP experiences are limited to the first 50 people.
General admission for the NorthEast ComicCon and Collectibles Extravaganza are the lowest of any similar event in New England!
