The Rock & Soul All Star Band is a live rock supergroup that features some of the most talented and experienced musicians in the industry. Led by Cliff Goodwin, a veteran guitar-slinger who has played with Joe Cocker, Robert Palmer, Jon Butcher and many others, the band delivers a rich southern heritage of classic soul and rock & roll to get you dancing. The band also features such musical greats as Bill Holloman, a versatile horn player who has worked with Nile Rodgers, Bruce Springsteen, Paul Simon and more; Wolf Ginandes, a legendary bassist who has toured with Tracy Nelson, Kal David and Matt Murphy; and Lorne Entress, a drummer and producer who has collaborated with Lori McKenna, Mark Erelli and Catie Curtis.
They are not only a powerhouse of musical talent, but also a showcase of musical diversity. The band covers a wide range of genres and styles, from blues to funk, from soul to rockabilly, from Motown to Beatles. The band pays tribute to the great artists who influenced them, and also perform original songs that reflect their own musical vision and personality. Their repertoire is always fresh and exciting, as they constantly add new songs and arrangements to their set list. Micky Dolenz, the drummer and vocalist for the pop-rock band the Monkees with The Monkeemobile, and Michael Des Barres, an English actor and musician who starred in the 1967 film “To Sir With Love.” Cherie Currie, the lead vocalist of the rock band the Runaways, and Richie Ramone, who drummed for the Ramones from 1983 to 1987, will also be there.
Keone Young, known for voicing characters in various animated series and video games, Alicyn Packard, an award-winning voice actress, and Rocker Cowboy Mach Bell, a long-time part of the Boston music scene, will be present too.
