NEComicCon Welcomes Diana Helen Kennedy, Boston-Based Voice & Stage Star

Diana Helen Kennedy is a stage and voice actor. A native of New Jersey (she’s heard all of the Jersey jokes), Diana now lives in the Boston area with her husband Ryan. Favorite recent theatre roles include Sandra Warner in John Minigan’s Closing Doors, Merry Chase in Larry Gelbart’s Mastergate, Andromache in The Trojan Women, Olivia in The Monologue Show, Fanny Dashwood/Lucy Steele in Sense and Sensibility, Titania in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Goneril in King Lear. Diana has studied most recently with Company One’s Professional Development for Actors in Boston.

Diana Helen Kennedy’s voice has been featured in several projects including My Time at Sandrock, Marvel Move, Ready or Not, Cascadia, ICE-CREAM, Supermarket, Alien Skies, My Amazing Woman, and the Bardsung TTG Audio Expansion pack. Prominent upcoming roles include Warrior Cats: Into the Wild with WC Animation, I Married a Monster on a Hill with All Ages of Geek, and The Mistress Fox Thief: SHIRO with RB Comics. She has also contributed to many other voiceover genres including commercials, corporate narration, and e-learning. Diana has won a TikTok voiceover challenge with Chris Greenfield, is part of the NYX award-winning cast of My Time at Sandrock, and been nominated for a Skelly for her work in Bardsung. Diana has studied with prominent voice talents Crispin Freeman, Jennifer Hale, Sara Cravens, Emma Sherr-Ziarko, and Gina Scarpa.

Outside of acting, Diana is a published interior designer and devoted mini poodle mom. Her favorite party tricks are her impersonations of Dick Van Dyke in “Mary Poppins,” and both Elmer Fudd and Bugs Bunny in “What’s Opera Doc?”.

Diana Helen Kennedy will be joining fellow voice actor Kevin Urban in the Seminar Room for a voice actor workshop, on Saturday & Sunday, March 9 & 10 at 12:00pm.
