When will tickets for go on sale?

Tickets are on sale and available for purchase here. Keep updated with email newsletters on what’s going on by entering your email into our mailing list and subscribing for updates or find us on Instagram or Facebook. Be sure to tag any photos you take at our events with #NEComicCon!

Where is NE ComicCon held?

The events are located conveniently northwest of Boston, off Route 495 near Route 2 at The Boxboro Regency Hotel and Conference Center, in Boxborough MA.

What is the NorthEast ComicCon and Collectibles Extravaganza?

NorthEast ComicCon and Collectibles Extravaganza (NEComicCon/NECC) is a fan convention featuring the best of pop culture including comics, toys, celebrities, gaming, autographs, art, cosplay, collectors’ items, comedy, concerts and more. NECC encompasses and embraces all things pop culture.

TICKETS, PURCHASING, AND REFUNDS

How do I buy tickets for NorthEast ComicCon?

Tickets will be available here for general admission. E-tickets are issued via email.

Can I pay at the door?

Yes! However, we’re offering discounts to people who purchase their tickets online in advance. Some of our ticket packages are only available for online purchase.

Do you mail me my registration?

Ticket confirmations are emailed at the time of purchase. You can bring your confirmation for admission as a print out or on your mobile device.

How long does it take to receive purchase confirmation?

Purchase confirmations are sent immediately to the email address you entered to make your purchase. Didn’t get your confirmation? Try checking your spam folder. Email us if you’re still having trouble.

I bought my ticket already, but now I can’t come. Can I get a refund?

Unfortunately, just like a ball game or concert, we aren’t able to issue refunds on purchased tickets. Tickets are transferable, though, so if you have a friend who’d like to come in your place, you can give them your ticket.

I bought my ticket already, but my favorite celebrity cancelled. Can I get a refund?

GETTING TO THE EVENT

Where do I park?

Parking is FREE on site.

Is it handicapped accessible?

Yes! The facility is equipped for accessibility needs and there is designated parking.

Can I bring food? Will there be food at the event available for purchase?

Yes, you may bring in some food. Please keep in mind that we reserve the right to check bags as it deems necessary. There will also be a great selection of food and drink available for purchase.

CELEBRITY GUESTS & EXTRAS

Which celebrity guests will be at NorthEast ComicCon?

Our list of attending celebrities will be posted on our website, our Facebook page (NorthEast ComicCon) and our Instagram grid. You can see news, along with images of past guests and visitors on Instagram as well!

Are all of the celebs posted guaranteed to be at the show?

All of the show’s guests have made a commitment to attend. However, special circumstances can arise and guests do have to cancel on occasion. All celebrities are subject to potential cancellation due to Professional Commitments or Health.

What are Photo Ops?

Photo Ops with your own camera are available from the Celebrities for a Fee. We do not offer Professional Photo Ops where a photo is printed.

Can I just take pictures with celebrities at their table?

For most of the celebrities the answer is yes, and there will probably be a fee for taking photos of yourself with the celebrity on your own camera, sometimes discounted with the purchase of an autograph.

Please be respectful of everyone and ASK PERMISSION before taking a photo of anyone, including celebrities, artists, and cosplayers.

Can I buy autographs and photo ops online in advance?

Celebrity photo ops and autographs are available at the guests table.

What if the celebrity experience, panel or screening that I want is sold out?

Our guests can only be in one place at a time and there is a limited amount of time and space! We suggest you buy your experience online before the show. If you wait until the show, you run the risk of it being sold out.

Do I need an admissions ticket to the event before I can purchase one of the extras?

Yes. A general admission or VIP ticket is required to purchase any additional extras for the show.

Am I allowed to take candid photos of celebrities?

It is not polite to take a photo of anyone without their permission. Celebrities typically ask that no photos be taken of them without their permission, and since other NEComicCon show-goers are purchasing photos with celebrities, it’s unfair to play paparazzi or to infringe on someone else’s private moments.

I can’t attend the show but would like to purchase an autograph. Can I?

At times we offer that opportunity. There are no mail order autographs available for the upcoming show.

Is there a charge for autographs?

Most of the show’s guests will be charging for autographs, although there may be some exceptions. Many guests will have photos, books, or other items available and will include this with an autograph purchase. Prices vary by guest.

Can I bring my own items to be signed?

Yes, but guests reserve the right to say “no” to signing a specific item at the show if they choose. Autograph fees are set by the celebrities or their representatives, and they can charge whatever they choose for items brought in by attendees.

I manage a celebrity talent and would like to attend a show as a guest. Who do I get in touch with?

KIDS & FAMILIES

Is the show kid-friendly? Are there any kids’ events?

Yes! We are family and kid-friendly shows. We have artists, creators, and exhibitors that appeal to guests of all ages.

Are kids’ tickets less than adult tickets?

Children 10 and under are free with an adult admission! Up to 4 children admitted free with each adult admission.

Can kids come without an adult?

Children must be accompanied by an adult, with a limit of 4 children (10 and under) per 1 adult admission for supervision and safety.

Do I need to register my free child under 10?

No, children 10 and under will be given a hand-stamp upon entering.

Are strollers allowed?

Yes, strollers are permitted. We do reserve the right to check bags when deemed necessary.

Can I bring in baby food or snacks for my kids?

Yes, food is permitted, although, we do reserve the right to check bags when deemed necessary.

COSPLAY

Can I dress up as any character or in any costume?

You can dress in any character as long as it the costume is appropriate for a family friendly event. No nudity or skimpy costumes.

Can I bring Toy Weapons with my Costume?

You can bring appropriate replica weapons that are completely safe, non-firing and non-lethal. There will be a weapons check by Police Officers and Security to make sure it is a safe environment.
