Fans of 80s and 90s pop culture might remember Julie McCullough as the Playboy Playmate of the Month for February 1986, or as the nanny Julie Costello on the sitcom Growing Pains. But did you know that she is also a talented actress, voice actor, comedian, and writer who has appeared in dozens of movies, TV shows, and video games?

This March, you will have a chance to meet her in person at the NorthEast ComicCon & Collectibles Extravaganza, a three-day event that celebrates all things nerdy, geeky, and fun. Julie will be joining other celebrities, artists, vendors, and fans at the Boxboro Regency Hotel in Boxborough, MA, from March 8 to 10, 2024.

With a career that spans over four decades and covers a wide range of genres and media, Julie McCullough started as a model in her teens and became a Playboy sensation in the mid-80s. She then transitioned to acting and landed roles in films such as The Blob, Big Bad Mama II, and Top of the World. In addition to Growing Pains, she was featured in several other TV shows such as The Golden Girls, Superboy, Robin’s Hoods and Max Headroom.

Julie is not only a beautiful and versatile performer, but also a hilarious and witty comedian and writer. In 2006 she began doing stand-up comedy, improv, and sketch comedy. In addition to acting and performing, Julie is also an accomplished writer, having won Outstanding Achievement in Poetry and Poet Of Merit Awards from The International Society of Poets in Washington, DC in August 2005. She has six original poems being published in a poetry book called Eternal Portraits. The poems are: The Mask, Being Mrs Sutcliffe, The Last Battle Cry, A Bunny Tale, A Prayer for Laz and Carolina Gold
